"I love the texture of this cream shadow and how nicely it fills in the eye lid. The color is subtle and dramatic at once. Also I had no problems or reactions to this product. I can't wear any mascaras so an eye shadow has to do all the heavy lifting and this is one that does the job. Brightens and dramatizes the eyes. Lovely."
"I am a long-time fan, and purchaser, of Jane Iredale products. At first, I loved these sticks. There were a variety of colors that worked great with my coloring, and they were fun to combine. I soon realized, however, that the sticks leave a residue of white flecks on my face! Extremely unattractive. I ended up throwing all the sticks out. A total waste of my time & money."
"I have mixed revies on this product as I like the way it applies and the color saturation and durability is very good. I was actually going to order two more colors to compliment the eyeshadow I already own (Ivy), but I am noticing that something in the product it irritating my eyelid, so I am going to hold off until I know more. I do not have sensitive skin at all, so I am not sure why I am having an issue with the feel of this product. It is unfortunate because I do like the product very much and I haven't encountered any other issues - breaking, etc. I did also want more of a sage green color to replace an eye shadow I already know. Ivy is much darker than sage, but I am making it work."

"I was very interested in trying something other than neutral tones for my eyelids. I would shy away from using Eye Shadow Sticks due to the fact that it could very well do more harm than good to your eyelids. In my opinion, eyeshadow powders are a much safer bet. I won't be using sticks again."
"I love my colorlux eye shadow. However the stick keeps falling out of the container making it impossible to use. I tried glueing it in but that made it worse by not allowing me to turn or retract color. Any suggestion. I tossed out an earlier smaller version for the same reason."

"The Color Luxe Eyeshadows are travel friendly and easy to use. The colors are beautiful and natural. My main complaint for this product has to do with the product design and functionality. The shadow pencil is not securely attached to the inner twisting mechanism of the product. Over a short period of only a couple months, the shadow pencil completely detaches from the twisting mechanism. Unless you remember to uncap the eyeshadow pencil pointing up each time, the shadow pencil will completely drop out of the pencil. This has happened to every eyeshadow pencil I have (3 in total). It's most unfortunate and a complete waste when it falls out onto the floor or into the bathroom sink."
